Author of “American Marxism” Mark Levin denounces the “appalling” Big Tech censorship: “Do I miss Twitter? No’

Media headlines July 19
White House slammed for supporting Big Tech’s “collusion” on banning COVID “disinformation” spreaders, journalist’s candid assessment of progressives in Cuba, and President Biden getting roasted on MSNBC round out headlines in today’s media.
Fox News host Mark Levin’s latest book “American Marxism” hit retailers last week, but the bestselling author hasn’t bothered to promote it on Twitter or Facebook. His problems with Big Tech only increased during the Biden era.
Levin wrote on Jan. 8 that he would stop using his own account “to protest Twitter fascism” and he has not tweeted since. Levin didn’t even sign up to change his pinned tweet, which remained a link promoting his previous book despite the release of “American Marxism.” But the host of âLife, Liberty & Levinâ doesn’t exactly miss the platform.
âDo I miss Twitter? No,â Levin told Fox News. “People keep telling me to come back to Twitter, so apparently they miss me on Twitter.”
MAISON BLANCHE, GENERAL SURGEON “SIGNALING” FACEBOOK POSTS FOR MODERATION, SAYS PSAKI
Levin’s initial beef with Big Tech was aimed at Facebook, which he called “the spokesperson for the Biden administration and the government.” He has had issues with the social media platform long before White House press secretary Jen Psaki revealed last week that the Biden administration is working with Facebook to report “problematic” posts that are spreading “disinformation” about COVID-19.
âI spent about a month talking about why I’m leaving Facebook on Facebook because Facebook is a censorship and propaganda operation,â Levin said. “We are now seeing what they are doing, working with the Biden administration and in fact, in many ways, taking orders from the Biden administration to censor information that differs from that of the government, which is shocking and appalling. . ”
Psaki doubled down on his controversial comment on Friday by suggesting that once users are banned from a social media platform for spreading “disinformation” about the coronavirus, they should be kicked out of everyone else as well.
‘LIFE, LIBERTY & LEVIN’ HOST MARK LEVIN’S LAST BOOK TO FIGHT AGAINST ‘AMERICAN MARXISM’
âShe is the spokesperson for the President of the United States,â Levin said. “Her words represent those of the administration, of the executive branch of the federal government⦠She sends a message to the rest of Silicon Valley and the rest of the social platform oligopoly and billionaires to take action. same as Facebook. ”
Psaki’s remarks on Friday sparked bipartisan derision, with critics labeling the Big Tech media “state actors” and tearing the Biden administration apart for playing the role of judge and jury on the truth. Levin predicted that other tech giants “will bend to his will” and do whatever the Biden administration asks. Levin has never been more upset with Twitter than with Facebook, but he decided he would ditch the platform when she banned former President Donald Trump earlier this year.
Twitter, YouTube and Facebook have each banned Trump from his claims that the presidential election was stolen, alleging he contributed to the violence on Capitol Hill on January 6. YouTube is owned by Google.
âTreat a former president like he doesn’t exist and ban him⦠who are these people? I’m getting out of here,â Levin said. “Do I miss it? Not the least bit but every now and then people try to pressure me to come back because they want to participate in the discussions.”
MARK LEVIN ON HOW AMERICANS CAN FIGHT MARXISM
Levin admits he appreciated the opportunity to post information in a distinct and direct style on Twitter, but has no plans to return anytime soon.
“For now, that is not my intention at all,” he said.
Mark Levin’s “American Marxism” is available now where the books are sold.
Levin believes the “Democratic Party wants to crush its opposition” and put social media platforms on the same page as Biden’s White House is part of the plan.
âThe Democratic Party does not believe in rhetoric and that is the whole point of this book, ‘American Marxism’. We have those elements in this country that embrace the totalitarianism of an Americanized form of Marxism, âLevin said. “It’s on our college campuses, where academic freedom is really a joke, freedom of speech on the Internet is really a joke. More and more of our freedoms are being stifled, and someone needs to draw attention there. above, must give it the right name and must talk about how we deal with it. And that is the purpose of the book. ”
