Letter: Scott Hennen has no interest in promoting free speech

Scott Hennen’s duplicity and hypocrisy is an insult to the Forum. Apparently whoever decided to feature him on the opinion page never listened to his radio show.

Hennen has the right-most program, filled with lies, conspiracy theories, and provocative nonsense that could be wrapped up in a radio show. I personally remember trying to have an outdoor chat with this man who proclaims he is for free speech and the exchange of ideas. Time and again his response to the facts is “We must break up now” or he simply hangs up with anyone who is not promoting the party line.

Several times I suggested to Hennen that he should have a Liberal to counteract his bias. Hennen will give any right-wing fan endless airtime, but try to present the other side and the line is gone.

For Hennen to claim that he promotes free and calm expression is the ultimate nonsense. Tune in to KFYR radio and let your ears ring with his promotion of Trump and his lies. Decide for yourself if you would trust this man to promote the truth.
