Ted Lesso

2021 has been an eventful year for Ted lasso Fans. First of all, their beloved show that they spent the better part of the year trying to get everyone to watch eventually caught the audience’s attention, leading to the inevitable cynical reaction. Then, in the middle of an already divided season, Ted lasso threw that The Coach Beard Episode About Us, and what are we supposed to do with this stuff? We, the fans of Ted lasso, are lucky the detractors never watched the show because they would have had a field day with this mess.

Now two of America’s worst people, Senators Mitt Romney and Kyrsten Sinema, have taken their time despite their busy schedules. kill paid family leave to show their Ted lasso Halloween costumes. Sadly shown below, Romney’s Ted (who looks more like a Pierre Delecto costume) and Sinema’s Rebecca are sharing stale cookies in an attempt to make each other look nicer. Barf.

And, then proving what we already know (they’ve never seen the show), attributed Friday night lights slogan to Lasso. Give us a break.

We all hate this kind of petty flattery that politicians play with. The “Pokemon Go To Polls-ification of US policy is shamefully disrespectful to all those currently crushed by the systemic oppression of our government.

Great, you watched TV. How very human you are. Worse yet, arming a show that focuses its emotional core on empathy for the political gains of two people who are currently making everyone’s lives worse is a real slap in the face. To put it more elegantly, it sucks.

Either way, enjoy being haunted by these photos. It sucks, and we hate it and think you will. Sure, it’s a bit of a political article on an entertainment website, but I’m sure both sides of the aisle can agree, we adults don’t want our politicians to use the culture pop to convince us that they are real people.

Ted lasso may never get over it, and honestly, if that’s what people get out of the show, maybe it shouldn’t be.
