Students from Deep River and Old Saybrook win $3,000 Middlesex Bar Association scholarships
MIDDLETOWN – The Middlesex County Bar Association recently awarded total funding of $3,000 to two Middlesex County high school students whose essays on “Towards a More Perfect Union: The Constitution in Times of Change” were among the best submissions.
The Middlesex County Bar Association is a not-for-profit organization of barrister members who reside or work in the county of Middlesex. Its mission is to provide “meaningful” access to justice, to increase public understanding and respect for the rule of law and due process, according to a press release. It provides benefits to the public of Middlesex County and strives to deliver programs including the Bursary Scheme which has been in operation for over 15 years.
