Turning the push back towards socialism | Letters to the Editor
I’m afraid the Democrats are on the wrong track. Democrats eliminated under God from the pledge of allegiance to their convention. Joe Biden said, “We take these truths for granted. All the men and women created… by the… co… you know… you know the thing, ”Joe Biden failed to mention God on National Day of Prayer. Joe Biden said that “we the people” are the government. You and me ”Why is this important because if you take away God, then“ they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, among which is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to guarantee these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed “from the Declaration of Independence Democrats seem to begin to make this meaningless by removing God and changing for that power comes from government and not the people.
The next thing the Biden administration begins is indoctrination of students with a proposed regulation from the Department of Education. This would infuse critical race theory throughout the main federal government law regarding K-12 schools, the elementary and secondary education law. “Initially, the rule would only apply to a few small grant programs. But it wouldn’t stop there. By the Heritage Foundation
Critical Race Theory goes hand in hand with the 1619 Draft, a race history that portrays this nation’s founding to maintain slavery.) Critical Race Theory shows that “all whites are inherently oppressors” and all minorities are victims of oppression, so we need fairness. This is clearly a racist theory because it divides people on the basis of skin color. According to the New York Post, “A form of government based on equity would mean the end not only of private property but also of individual rights, equality before the law, federalism and freedom of speech. These would be replaced by a redistribution of wealth based on race, rights based on group, active discrimination and omnipotent bureaucratic authority.
I hope that we will not give up our efforts to achieve equality where everyone has an equal opportunity and where we judge people on their character and not on the color of their skin.
I think after this year we saw teacher unions controlling our schools for the benefit of teachers and not students. I would suggest we change students from school clients to school clients with a voucher system where the student can spend their voucher in public schools, private schools, or for home schooling.
The next thing we could do is support the convention of states to restore meaning to the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution “Powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to states, are reserved for states respectively, or to the people. Hope to end federal government involvement in education and restore federalism.
I hope we can come back to this push towards socialism before, as Thomas Jefferson said: “The tree of freedom must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants”.
